From August 12 to 23, 2024, Equidev, in collaboration with UNICEF and with financial support from the European Union, distributed essential hygiene kits to 50 schools across Tajikistan. These kits, which include liquid soap, toilet paper, face masks, chlorine, rubber gloves, and towels, are a key component of the ongoing effort to enhance Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) practices in schools.
This initiative, part of the project on the “Implementation of the Three Stars Approach on WASH in Schools of Tajikistan”, underscores the importance of integrating proper hygiene practices into the daily routines of schools. The distribution of these kits provides a practical model for schools to follow, reinforcing that maintaining hygiene is crucial for creating a safer and healthier learning environment.
Equidev’s commitment to this cause reflects a broader goal of ensuring that all students and staff have access to the necessary tools to protect their health. By prioritizing hygiene through these essential resources, schools are better equipped to safeguard the well-being of their communities and contribute to a healthier future for all.
